Wallace F. Brown

Wallace Brown’s first novel, The Shepherd Sleeps, was published by Writers-Exchange in 2008. It is set in New Orleans at the height of the Vietnam war and the counter-culture revolution of the 1960s. As with his second novel, Jayapura, a sense of place and historical setting, permeates the narrative, providing the reader with the sensation of walking the streets of the French Quarter, or of navigating the dense jungles and teeming cities of South East Asia.

Wallace lives in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Villanova University. He is an avid reader of both literary and genre fiction, particularly espionage thrillers. His favorite authors are Alan Furst, John LeCarre, Joseph Conrad and Somerset Maugham.
