5 Stars! “With a nod to the classic Cary Grant-Deborah Kerr An Affair to Remember, the fifth Adventures in Amethyst is a delightful second chance contemporary romance. Readers will root for the warm lead couple to make it; while booing the amoral Wooten siblings (Summer was married to Apple’s brother Clay).” ~Harriet Klausner

I have always enjoyed the Adventures in Amethyst Series books. One
reason is that, while they are interconnected, they truly stand alone. You
won't be lost if you're a new reader and returning readers will find
familiar faces. Once I saw through the outward facade to the troubled young
woman in Summer, I realized the depth of the pain she’s keeping inside. It
made Summer more relatable to me. Quinn is an interesting paradox of a man
and there's more to him than meets the eye. The book was a fast read and
very relaxing. I enjoyed the entire story very much. I haven't been able to
'visit' Amethyst in a while, so this was a very fun book for me to catch up
on the small town and its inhabitants.

4 Stars! “Personally, I do not believe that I have ever seen a couple more perfect for each other than Quinn and Summer. This may be the fifth book in the series, but it is still a “stand alone” story. I have no doubt that once you finish this tale, you will want to look up the previous titles too. Karen Wiesner has created a magical town and filled it with such an interesting cast of characters that I wished (more than once) that the place was real so that I could go visit.” ~Huntress Reviews http://www.huntressreviews.com
