Step into the World of Inspirational Romance Novels

By Regina Andrews

Step into the world of Inspirational Romance novels and take a voyage through the entire spectrum of human emotions. Get ready to be uplifted! Get ready to be devastated! Get ready to think that all is lost, only to have events turn so that your whole outlook is renewed, restored, and refreshed.

The world of Inspirational Romance novels takes the love story between two main characters and elevates it to an entirely new level.

These are very good people who are facing very difficult problems. Sometimes there is a challenge beyond their control. Events such as natural disasters, disease, war, deceptive family secrets, and other situations limit the control that they have over their lives. And it restricts the love they are compelled to share.

What happens? What is limited? Is it the control they have over who they love, or whether or not that love can grow? And conflict? There is no end to the conflict that is posed to our characters in an Inspirational Romance. And then there are the conflicts that develop between our characters, also. How are our characters going to be able to solve these matters?

The world of Inspirational Romances takes a reader on a roller coaster ride through the mind and heart and soul of the human psyche. Experience true elation, despair, and redemption. Personal growth, which is never an easy process, is always part of the love story that is at the center of an Inspirational Romance.

Growth as an individual? Yes! Our main characters do grow and we love them more for the courage that they show facing the challenges of becoming more than they were when the story opens. Often this growth can be a source of humor, and at times it is poignant and touching as well.

Growth as a couple? Yes! This is also central to the plot development and storyline of an inspirational Romance. There are many roadblocks and speed bumps along the way to the development as a loving couple. At times it may even look like they are growing apart and that they must be apart for them to retain their individuality. But in an Inspirational Romance, the couple does grow together at the very end.

Most importantly, there is a very major third character who is the main character in the entire story of an Inspirational Romance. And that is God. It is only the presence of God that allows our couple to fall in love and to overcome the obstacles, individually and together, that are preventing them from becoming a loving couple.

The spirituality of an Inspirational Romance is a source of comfort and happiness, despite all the challenges that occur during the course of the novel. From the beginning, the reader can have faith that there will always be a happy ending when experiencing the joy, elation, uncertainty, despair, love, and redemption of an Inspirational Romance.
